Divine Journey: A Spontaneous Pilgrimage to Tirupati
Was a great experience coming for Thirupati Darshan( 8 hrs waiting in queue) with no prior arrangements on Blue Moon Day, especially Monday(Avaniyavittom Day). Performed the upakarma Ceremony at Thirupati.
Waiting in queue for 3hrs for getting darshan ticket and waiting for one and a half hours for getting accommodation @Thirupathi was a lifetime divine experience 🙏
Got a chance to eat various nevedyas offered to Venkitachalapathi( Chakara Pongal, Pongal, Puliyodarai, Big Ghee Dosa)
Thanks to Anand who became my friend during train travel to Thirupati from Trivandrum. He was my guide along all my Journey to Thirupati. Thanks to Partha Sarathi( supervisor of Laddu unit at Tirupati) who was my vadyar for Upakarma Ceremony at Tirupati.
Offered prayers to Varahamoorthi, Anjaneya, Padmavati Thayaar and Govinda Raja Perumal( waiting time one hour for darshan)
One thing I learned from this experience. Book a room online and come to Tirupati (you are more likely to get a good room). If not, you can spread a towel outside the temple and lay down (consider cold-resistant clothing)
